Behnaz Yalda, DMD, MS

Dr. Yalda completed her high school in Rome, Italy and undergraduate training in Irvine, CA. She graduated Cum Laude from Washington University School of Dentistry in 1990. Dr. Yalda received the Walter S. Kramer Award of Excellence during her junior year ad inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental Honor Society as a senior. She received many honors and awards in Periodontics as well as pediatric and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Yalda continued her training at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where she received her Masters of Science in Periodontics in 1993. During her residency, she completed her research on inflammatory mediators in periodontal disease in diabetic patients. Her research has been published in the Journal of Periodontology and Periodontology 2000.

Dr. Yalda is a member of both local and national professional organizations and participates in many continuing education courses to keep current with the rapidly progressing field of Dentistry and specifically Periodontics.

Dr. Yalda is board certified and diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
